Cyril B. Miller -- Cyril Bertram Miller, 75, of 2111 W. 42nd, died Saturday at Veterans Hospital. He was born in Vinland, Kan., and had lived in this area most of his life. Mr. Miller had been a salesman for the Syd Simon Roofing and Siding Co. more than 20 years before he retired in 1965. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Rosedale United Methodist Church. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Mildred Miller of the home; a son, Richard Miller, Cass County; a daughter, Mrs. Carol Miller, Topeka; nine grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. Private services, cremation.

(obituary publication date and newspaper unknown; many thanks to Dave Dozier at Mt. Moriah for finding and sending it)

The records at Mt. Moriah Cemetery in Kansas City (where his wife Mildred is buried) indicate that at one time they had the cremated remains of Mr. Miller stored in a crypt in the Faith Mausoleum at Mt. Moriah along with other unclaimed remains but as of March 2012 they are unable to locate the remains, it is most likely that a family member claimed them but it is unknown if his ashes were scattered or what became of them.
