Atley Linwood "Pop" Vickers Age 89, of Seaford, DE, died Sunday January 9, 2000 in Smyrna, DE. Born in Portsville, DE son of the late Charles G. and Britiana Dean Vickers, he was a farmer most of his life. His wife, Myrtle Mae Paul Vickers died in 1993.

He is survived by 4 sons, Horace Vickers of Bridgeville, DE, Charles Vickers and John Paul Vickers of Milton, DE and Brent Vickers of Rehoboth, DE; 1 sister, Winifred Wright of Laurel, DE; 18 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Ronnie Vickers, his daughter, Carol Vickers, 3 sisters, 2 brothers and 2 grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 11 at SHORT FUNERAL HOME, 700 West Street, Laurel, DE, where friends may call 1 hour prior to the funeral service. Interment in Portsville Cemetery, Portsville, DE.
