Obituary from Ft. Worth, TX papeer, Aug. 10, 1951: "Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday in Robertson-Mueller-Harper Funeral Home for Robert Franklin McNemer, 53, who had taught merchandising to hundreds of Texas druggists in the past 25 years.
McNemer, secretary-treasurer and sales manager of King Candy Company, died at his home at 2801 Benbrook Blvd. Thursday morning after a long illness. Burial will be in Greenwood.
McNemer joined the candy firm shortly after coming to Fort Worth 37 years ago, and for the past 26 years had been its sales manager. His work involved traveling over the state to visit drug stores, and it was during these trips that he trained his clients in sound selling methods.
He was a past president of the Drug Travelers Association of Texas and had been active in the Fort Worth Sales executives Club. He was a Mason.
Survivng are his wife, Mrs. Lucille Daniels McNemer, his mother Mrs. P.H. McNemer, and sister, Mrs. Bart Aldridge, both of Wewoka, Okla.; daughter Mrs. Ralph W. Hendrickson of Fort Worth; a brother, Dr. Phil H. McNemer of Beaumont, and two granddaughters,.. ."
Robert married (1) Georgia Colvin. He married (2) Mrs. Lucille Daniels.
