Born Dec. 14, 1891 in New Holstein, she was a daughter of the late Adolph and Emma Edens Paulsen, and on Aug. 28, 1913 she was married to Louie Schaar at New Holstein He died Oct. 13, 1944.
Mrs. Schaar was a member of the Church of Peace, Fond du Lac.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Sigmund Henze of Fond du Lac and Mrs. Donald Ogle of Oakfield; five grandchildren and two brothers, Rudolph and Alfred, both of New Holstein. One sister preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Church of Peace, Fond du Lac, the Rev. Martin Koehler, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the New Holstein Cemetery, Friends may call at the Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, Fond du Lac, after 3 p.m. Wednesday and at the church from 11 a.m Thursday until the hour of services.
