CORYDON DEMOCRAT OBITUARY – 01/27/1926
Charles Kiesler, son of Geo. Kiesler, of Morgan Township, died in Mexico, last Wednesday of tuberculosis, aged thirty years. The remains arrived here Sunday and the funeral took place from the Catholic church Bradford, on Monday. Deceased leaves a wife and one child. He was a soldier in the World War, and was "gassed" and was never well afterward. He went to Mexico to try and regain his health but failed. He was a good man.

DEMING HEADLIGHT OBITUARY – 01/22/1926
Charles A. Kiesler, ex-service man died at his home in Deming about noon, Jan. 20. Mr. Kiesler came to Deming some two years ago for his health, and for a time the climate seemed to benefit him some. He had been growing worse the last few days, and the end came last Wednesday. The body was sent to his home in Palmyra, Ind., today. He is survived by his wife and baby who were with him at the time of his death.

Charles A. Kiesler, an incapacitated ex-service man, died at his home here at noon Wednesday, he being a victim of tuberculosis. His body was shipped to Corydon Junction, Indiana, for interment. His bereaved wife and their baby accompanied the remains.
