Thomas and Tamma had five children; Alvin P. Hanna, George A. Hanna, Ulysses Grant Hanna, Stewart E. Hanna, and an unnamed son. It appears Tamma had another child, or adopted one (possibly a grandchild) named William Hanna born in 1872, six years after the death of Thomas Hanna. Tamma died of spinal meningitis.
When Thomas died, she married second William H. Lung on 24 Dec 1881 in Sac Co., Iowa.
