COURIER JOURNAL OBITUARY – 10/29/1965
MADLON – Emelia Rose, age 78 years, Thursday, Oct. 28 at 2 p.m. Residence, 311 W. Southside Ct. Mother of Mrs. Sam J. (Rose Kathryn) Salerno, grandmother of Bernard E. Salerno, sister of Mrs. Charles Horney, Mr. Edward Herbig and Mr. Henry Herbig. Two great-grandchildren also survive. Mrs. Madlon is at Ratterman's, 2815 S. 4th St. Funeral Saturday noon from St. John Vianney Church. Interment, St. Michael Cemetery. Scripture reading will be Friday evening at 8 o'clock.

Mrs. Albert B. Madlon, 78, died at 2 p.m. Thursday at Little Sisters of the Poor Nursing Home, 622 S. 10th. She was the former Emelia Rose Herbig and formerly lived at 311 W. Southside Court. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Sam J. Salerno; a grandson; and two great-grandchildren. The funeral will be at noon Saturday at St. John Vianney Church. Burial will be in St. Michael Cemetery. The body is at Ratterman's, 2815 S. Fourth.
