Mrs. Maggie Lee Ahern Detroy, a member of the Altar Society at St. Brigid Church, died at 4:25 p.m. Monday at her home, 1520 Winter. She was 71. Mrs. Detroy, a Louisville native, also was a member of the Carmel Club and the Louisville Unit, Ladies Auxiliary of the Louisville & Nashville Railroad Veterans Club. She was the widow of Rudolph Detroy, a switchman for the L. & N. for 30 years. Survivors include four sons, Thomas K. Gogan, Las Vegas; Jack Gogan, Jerry Gogan, and Lawrence Detroy; three daughters, Mrs. M. E. Hettich, Anchorage; Mrs. Patrick Lynch, Detroit, and Mrs. Lincoln Lieber; 18 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren. The funeral will be at 8:30 a.m. Thursday at Barret Funeral Home, 1230 Bardstown Road, and at 9 a.m. at St. Brigid Church. Burial will be in St. Louis Cemetery.
