Michael Emmett Steele, 51, died at 3 a.m. Saturday [August 4, 1962] at his home, 605 Inverness. He was a native of Lancaster and had worked in the bottling department of Sealtest Foods the past 15 years. He was a member of St. Thomas More Church. Surviving are his wife, the former Lula Mackin; a daughter, Miss Barbara Steele; two brothers, John T. & Clement Steele, and two sisters, the Misses Catherine & Mary Margaret Steele. The funeral will be at 9 a.m. Tuesday at St. Thomas More Church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. The body is at Ratterman’s 2814 S. Fourth.
