COURIER JOURNAL OBITUARY – 01/19/1979
A. Barth Repetto, 87, died at 7:10 p.m. Wednesday [January 17, 1979] at Glenmary Nursing Home. He had retired after 55 years as night manager for Western Union Co. He was an Army veteran of World War I, and was a member of St. Anthony Court Order of Forresters, Jefferson American Legion Post #15, Churchill Downs American Legion Post and the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He is survived by a sister, Mrs. Mary Louise Clancy. The funeral will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the Cathedral of the Assumption, 443 S. Fifth St., with burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road, after 1 p.m. Friday. The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to Mass on the Air, 3940 Poplar Level Road.
