A retired construction manager and a resident of Baton Rouge, Rogers E. McCaig died Friday, July 31, 2009, at 10 a.m. He was 73 and a native of Memphis, Tenn. Visiting will be at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Monday, Aug. 3, from noon until service at 2 p.m. He is survived by his wife, Catherine C. McCaig; son, Mark McCaig, Baton Rouge; daughters, Rhonda Magnolia, Baton Rouge, Lisa Cross, Phoenix, and Melinda Rideout, Allenstown, N.H.; sisters, Lena Justus, Cordova, Tenn., and Grace Smith, Memphis; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
