Lela was the daughter of George &
Ann 'Moxley' Johnson.

She was first married to Henry Clayton
'Floyd.' They had 9 children:
Harold
Wilbur
Frank
Marion
Elwands
Ernest
Roberta
Don
Henry Jr.
Martha Jean

Lela married Leslie 'Les' Obarr in
1918. They lived on South Walnut Street
in Afton, Ottawa Co., Oklahoma. Lela
knitted many lovely things. Lela &
Les were neighbors of my parents, Ray &
Jessie Long. I have several pot-holders
and scraves that Lela knitted for me.
Les and Lela were next door neighbors to
my grandparents, Frank and Mandy Dillinger.
They were my Mom's parents. My
grandparents had a cellar and anytime the
sirens were blown, we would all meet and
go into the cellar. We did that many times
during the storm season.

Lela & Les had a mulberry tree in
their front yard. I know that many of us
neighborhood kids would ask if we could
climb in the tree and eat the berries. She
would always say yes, and tell us not to
eat to many, they would make us sick.

Lela was a kind and giving lady, she will
always be missed by friends and family.
