Mouton Bickham
Funeral services were held Thursday of last week for Mouton Bickham, former mayor of the Town of Franklinton and called by many the father of the booming dairy industry of this area.
Last rites were at the Centennial Methodist Church, with interment following in the Ellis Cemetery.
Mr. Bickham died at McGehee Clinic in Franklinton early Wednesday morning following several years of declining illness due to a heart condition.
In addition to his wife, Mrs. Leatrice Brumfield Bickham, he is survived by a son, Gaylord Bickham, a sister, Mrs. Udine Bickham Jones, and his mother, Mrs. Lela Babington Bickham.
