Mrs. Nell Dosher Olszewski passed away Saturday, July 25, 2009. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 28, at China Spring Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, July 27, at the funeral home.
Nell was born in Ocee, Texas. She attended Waco schools and Four C College. She married Lt. John F. Olszewski on June 17, 1946, in Springfield, Mass. She lived in New Jersey for more than 30 years before returning to live in Waco in 1978. She was a volunteer at Hillcrest Hospital for 14 years and active in Rosson Study Club, Waco Council of Garden Clubs, Garden Forum Garden Club, Waco Herb Society, Lifeliners and was a Life Member of the Nell Pape Garden Center.
She was preceded in death by her husband; and her only son, John Richard Olszewski.
She is survived by a sister, Dorothy Dale Barr, of Richland; and several nieces and nephews.
