Mrs. Pansy Falls Julian, 91, died Tuesday, April 7, 2009, at Summit Place Assisted Living of Kings Mountain.

She was born in York County, Aug. 30, 1917, a daughter of the late Thomas Henry Falls and Susan Ann Carroll Falls. She graduated from Anderson College and continued her education at Clemson University, graduating with her teaching degree. She owned a daycare and then taught school.

She was a member of Pope Drive Baptist Church in Anderson, S.C., where she was active in the Senior Adult Ministry and sang in the Senior Choir. She was a charter member of Hudson Berry United Daughters of the Confederacy and a member of the Daughters of American Resolution and the Association of University Women. She enjoyed sewing, yard work, her flower garden and the time spent with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank J. Julian Sr.; son, Frank J. Julian Jr.; and brothers and sisters, Ola Pruette, Minnie Jane Falls, Herbert Falls, Albert Falls, Willard Falls, Frances Pennington, John Falls, Dwight Falls and Katherine Falls.

She is survived by her daughters, Ann Abadie and husband, Dale, of Oxford, Miss., Carolyn Cooper and husband, Billy, of Shelby and Lou Anderson and husband, Ronnie, of Mt. Pleasant, S.C.; brother, George Falls and wife, Jackie, of Kings Creek, S.C.; sisters, Veda Garrison and Dorothy Martin of Greenville, S.C., and Esther Holliday of Six Mile, S.C.; grandchildren, Emily Monroe, Faithe Beam, Amy Cooper, Elaine Abadie, Leslie Boyne, John Abadie, Ryan Anderson and Susan Anderson; and great-grandchildren, Mallory and Angus Monroe, Patrick Beam, Thea and Thomas Boyne, Ella and Alex Abadie and Travis Anderson.

Burial: Woodlawn Memorial Park, Greenville, S.C.
