WESTON - James H. Johnson of Weston died Feb. 15, 2002, at the Sylvia House hospice in Ocala, Fla.

He was born Sept. 15, 1938, the son of Frank and Mathilda (Moses) Johnson. He attended school in Weston.

He worked locally in the woods and truck driving.

Mr. Johnson enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Survivors include a daughter, Jemasu Foster; two stepdaughters, Teresa Speaker of Alstead, N.H., and Tina Smith of Bennington; his former wife, Mary Adams of Chester; seven sisters, Mary Colbeth of Proctorsville, Nola Andrews of Manchester, Ruth Connestrac of Springfield, Hazel Richardson of Weston, Jessie Carlton of Rutland, Eloise Patnode and Alice Burazynski, both of Hinsdale, N.H.; a brother, Edward of Weston; a grandson; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Open Door Mission, Park Street, Rutland, 05701.
