William H. Kelch, 921, a resident of Wabash for 61 years, died Tuesday afaternoon at 3:15 o'clock in the Peru Nursing home following an illness of 10 days. Death was due to complications.
He was born Aug. 29, 1959 in Lincolnville to Joseph J. and Louisa E. (Stafford) Kelch and was married on Dec. 25, 1885 in Lincolnville to Emma J. Cross who died on May 29, 1948.
Mr. Kelch was an employee of the Big Four railroad and a member of the First Methodst church.
Survivors include one son, Lloyd Kelch, Wabash; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock in the Jones Funeral home with the Rev. Charles Mitchell presiding. Burial will be in the Falls cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.
