LAURA MASON
Services were Tuesday, Feb. 16, at 11 a.m. at Woods bros. Chapel, Seward, for Laura Mason, 91, Seward, who died Saturday.
She was born May 1, 1879, in Albany, N.Y., to Andrew and Sarah Nelson. She was a widow of Charles B. Mason whom she married Jan. 7, 1903.
She came to Nebraska when a small child, settling with her parents on a farm near Dorchester. After her marriage, she lived on a farm near Dorchester until 1917 when they moved to Seward. Her husband passed away May 19, 1953.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, and three brothers.
Survivors include a sister-in-law, Mrs. Fred Mason, Seward, and nieces and nephews.
The Rev. Raymond Nuetzman officiated; burial was in the Seward cemetery.
