Ercilia, a resident of Santa Cruz, was predeceased by parents Donato Roybal and Sustina Bustos; first husband Amador López; second husband Charles Mollohan; brother José Roybal; sister Nonita Roybal; and great-grandson Adrian Valdéz; son-in-law Sal Sánchez and grandson-in-law Edward Gallegos.

Ercilia was survived by her children: Gene López (wife: Rosina) of Lyden; George López (companion: Veronica Montaño) of Canjilon; LeRoy López (wife: Celina) of La Puebla; Ann Charlotte Sánchez of Las Cruces; and Chuck Mollohan of Albuquerque; grandchildren: Theresa López, Betty Gallegos (companion: Robert Prowdzik), Debbie López, Velvet Money, Ben López (wife: LeeAnn), George López Jr., Georgia López, Clarissa Montaño, Cerina Armijo (companion: Fabian), Scott López, Jolene Armijo (Fiancé: Jerry Martinez), Edwina Roybal (husband: Chris), Ann Charlotte Sánchez, Sal Sánchez, Linda Jo Aldas (husband: Johnny), Joseph Sánchez, Eddie Mollohan, Chuckie Mollohan, James Mollohan, Miguel Mollohan, and Misty Wilson (husband: Allen). Ercilia was further survived by 26 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.

Ercilia was a life time member of the Catholic Daughters of America and the Altar Society. She was a 1934 Graduate of Loretto Academy, and retired from the Los Alamos Labs after 20 years. She worked at Brons Hospital in Santa Fe, and she worked to the ripe age of 80 years old.

Pallbearers: Scott López, Ben López, Jerry Martinez, Chris Roybal, Joseph Sánchez, and Chuckie Mollohan. Honorary pallbearers: Dominic Roybal, Sal Sánchez III, Allen Wilson, Tony Valdéz, Ricky Valdéz, James Mollohan, Miguel Mollohan, and Michael Money.
