He was born July 25, 1883, in Copenhagen, Denmark,the son of Ane Kristine Nielsen and Shoemaker Anderson. He came to America when he was six or seven years of age, living with relatives in Utah, later going to Idaho to stay with the Robison faamily.
Carl came to Byron in 1917. He married Helen Thorn Sept. 24, 1919, at Cody. He worked for the Ohio Oil Company from 1934 until 1948 when he retired. Mr. Anderson was a member of the LDS church and the Lovell IOOF lodge. He passed away in the Powell hospital Thursday, Jan. 31.
Surviving are the widow of Byron; a son, Ray C. Anderson of North Hollywood, Calif.; five daughters, Mrs. Helen Schultz of Cody, Mrs. Louis Taggart of Valley, Wyo., Mrs. Pearl Ames and Mrs. Carla Dugger, both of Byron, Mrs. Laura Snell of Greybull, Wyo.; three brothers, four sisters, nine grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
The Haskell Funeral Home in Lovell, Wyo., is in charge of arrangements.
