William (Mike) & Anna moved from Russell Co., to Marion around 1917. In the Spring of 1944 they came to Missouri.

A wedding of 2 well known Bunkerhill young people was solemnized yesterday afternoon at 4 o'clock at the home of the brides parents on Cedar Creek, W.W. Houdyshell and Miss Anna Hagan being the contracting parties. Mr. Houdyshell is a son of Mr. and Mrs. James Houdyshell of this town, most of his life having been passed here. Miss Hagan is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Hagan of Cedar Creek, and although she has lived here but a short time, has made many good friends. Rev. J. B. Kipple performed the ceremony in the presence of about 40 friends and relatives, after which, a bountiful wedding dinner. The young couple received many nice presents. The Advertiser joins the many friends in wishing them a long and ? life together
Obituary for William Houdyshell

Webb City, Mo. - William Houdyshell, 73 years old, was pronounced dead on arrival at 11:30 o'clock Tuesday morning in McCune Brooks hospital at Carthage where he was taken in a ABC ambulance after being stricken with a heart attack in the home of a son, David J. Houdyshell, east of Webb City, where he lived.
Born in Bunker Hill, Kan., Mr. Houdyshell for most of his life had farmed until retiring in 1953, when his wife died. He had since lived with his son. Surviving are two other sons, Walter Houdyshell of Lamar and George
Houdyshekll of Marion, Kan; a daughter, Mrs. Martha Berg of Marion, several brothers and sisters and seven grandchildren. His body was received by Selvey funeral home of Jasper.
