Mrs. Wesley Fogle, 80, a resident of Butler for more than 35 years, died Friday morning at 8:45 at Hillsboro hospital where she had been a patient for three months. She had been in declining health for an extended period prior to being hospitalized.

Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Fogle was born Mar. 14,1888, in Irving Township, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank Davis and was 80 years, six months and 20 days of age at her death. She and Charles Wesley Fogle were united in marriage Sept. 20,1905 in Hillsboro. Mr. Fogle, a retired farmer and former custodian at Butler school, died May 23,1963.

Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 1:30 at Bass funeral home with the Rev. James D. Howie officiating. Burial was in Montgomery cemetery, north of Hillsboro.

Surviving are three daughters, Charlotte, wife of Hubert Jackson, Litchfield; Rosella, wife of Leonard Pryor of Butler and Evelyn, wife of George C. Baker of Granville; two sons, Carl Kenneth of Klamath Falls, Ore., and Lester Fogle of LaRose; 33 grandchildren and a sister, Carrie, wife of Lee Van Alstine of Stonington.

Three children, John, Warren and Alberta, a sister, Mrs. Rebecca Clark, three brothers, John, Robert and Jacob Davis and James Caulk a half-brother, are deceased.

Mrs. Fogle was a member of Butler Union church, Helping Hand Society and Ladies Guild of the church.
