Orange Spencer died at 10:15 p.m. on Sunday evening from stomach trouble, at the home of his son Herman Spencer, who lives in this town, across the river from Rockdale. The deceased was 79 years of age and had always resided in this town. Besides a wife, to whom he had been married 51 years, he is survived by two sons, Irving Spencer of Unadilla Center and the one mentioned above. The funeral services were held from his late home on Wednesday afternoon at 1 o'clock, the Rev. A.E. Holmes officiating. Burial was given in the Rogers Hollow cemetery.
