Naomi Alice Daugherty, 75, of 1550 Park Ave. died at 10:30 p.m. Thursday at Hendrick Medical Center after a lengthy illness. Services will be a 10 a.m. Monday at Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, 542 Hickory.

The Rev. Howard Ingram, pastor of Trinity Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Elmwood Memorial Park.

Born in 1903 in Gainesville, she was a schoolteacher and later became a licensed vocational nurse. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son, a sister, two brothers, and several nieces and nephews.
