Frank Flemming (sometimes spelled Fleming) was an American Soldier during the American Civil War of 1861 to 1865.

He served with the regiment throughout its service in Virginia and Maryland as part of the Army of the Potomac, and was mustered out of service with the Company on June 2nd, 1863, at New York City, New York.
He re-enlisted on July 15th, 1863, at New York City, New York, for three years service, and was mustered into service as a Private in Company C of the 17th New York Veteran Volunteer Infantry Regiment on October 6th, 1863, at Camp Sprague, Staten Island, New York. He served with the regiment throughout its campaigns in Kentucky, Tennessee, Mississippi, Alabama, & Georgia.
He was killed in action on September 1st, 1864, at the Battle of Jonesboro, Georgia.
