Canton-Edna Reno West, age 95, formerly of the Beaverdam Community died Thursday, November 15, 2001 at Haywood Regional Medical Center.
She was a native and life long resident of Haywood County. She was a daughter of the late James and Lura Clark Reno. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John Marvin West, Sr., who died in 1979.
She was a member of Beaverdam United Methodist Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Grace Cooper and a son, J. M. West, Jr., both of Canton.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 18, 2001 at the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home. Burial will be at Bon-A-Venture Cemetery, Clyde, NC.
