John Moses Aboud, beloved husband, father and grandfather passed away Monday, July 14 from complications related to congestive heart failure.
John was born June 16, 1932, in Detroit, Michigan and moved to Scottsdale, Arizona in 1953 where he owned and operated the Aboud Brothers Grocery Store.
He met and fell in love with Sue Sabbagh and in 1959 they were married in Enid. In 1976 they permanently made their home in Enid raising four children while being involved in many food establishments, the first of which was Joe's Pastry Shop.
John was preceded in death by his parents, Moussa and Esther, and four brothers, Jimmy, George, Willy and Louie.
He is survived by his wife, Sue, of 44 years; two daughters, Susan and Freda; two sons, John and his wife Felice, and David; and five grandchildren, Andrew, Matthew, Raney, Hannah and Sarah.

"Giddi" as he was affectionately referred to will be most remembered for his honesty, dedication, work ethic, strength, kindness, warmth, generosity and sense of humor. He was one of a kind, a man of principle and honor that forever touched the hearts of friends and strangers alike. He was a 32nd degree Mason and his family was always top priority, placing their needs before his own. Giddi was bigger than life and fought against his disease inspiring many with his bravery, strength and toughness until God called him home.
