STAR CITY- Funeral services for Mrs. Stella Lee McCoy Pounders, 86, of Star City, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Southside Baptist Church here by Reverend Bill Johnson.
Burial will be in Moutain Home Cemetery near here by Griffin Funeral Home of Star City.
Mrs. Pounders died Sunday at a Nursing home here after a sudden illness. She was a widow of James Alfred Pounders. She was a member of the Southside Baptist Church here.
Survivors include three sons. Alfred Pounders of Bayonne, New Jersey, Woodrow W. Pounders of Star City and Carl H. Pounders of Lake Charles, Louisiana; three daughters, Mrs. Lucille Green of Conway, Mrs. Eva Queen of San Antonio and Mrs. Ruby Sanderson of Houston; a sister, Mrs Annie B Housen of Louisiana; two half brothers, George Bray of Hampton and Harrison Bray of California; a half sister, Mrs. Mary Bozeman of Panama City, Florida; a grandchild, Mrs. Barbara Pounders Cross of Pine Bluff, who was reared by Mrs. Pounders;and 25 other grandchildren;and 53 great-grandchildren.
