A loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle, brother and friend, Keith Orvel Allred, died April 23, 2005. Keith led a long and fruitful life, touching the lives of many people through his friendship, church service and work.

Keith was born in Lovell on March 16, 1930, to John Orvel Allred and Iva Gifford Allred. He was in the army, fulfilled an LDS mission to the southern states and was a stake missionary. He served as a bishop and was a counselor in a bishopric, in the Stake Presidency and in the Billings Montana Temple Presidency. He was the Lovell Wyoming Stake Patriarch and had many other church callings.

After spending his working years farming, working in the sugar factory and raising a family, her served an LDS mission in the Family History Library in Salt Lake City, Utah, with his wife, Karma. He enjoyed golfing and spending time with his family.

Those who knew him and his many good works will remember him for his sense of humor, his love of life, his service, and especially, for his selfless love of those around him. He was a good and dependable friend, counselor and advisor. He worked hard in all his endeavors and fulfilled his responsibilities. His absence in many lives will be heartfelt.

He was preceded in death by an infant son, Richard; his parents; one brother and two sisters. He is survived by his loving wife, Karma; children, Dan (Sorena), Debbie (Steve Bassett), Rod (Debbie), Kevin (Tamina), Brent (Jackie) and Michael (Carmen); 30 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Fernith Adolph, Rebecca Walker and Violet Averett.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, April 27, 2005, at 10 a.m. in the Lovell Stake Center. In lieu of flowers, the family would treasue brief written remembrances of your association with Keith.
