She was a member of the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart.
Mary enjoyed reading and music, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whom she loved very much.
She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Stiever, Winona, MN; sons, Paul (Connie) Stiever, California, Mark Stiever, Winona, MN, Bill (Tammy) Stiever, Winona, MN; grandchildren, Sgt. Jerrid Stiever, U.S. Army-Ft. Irwin, CA, Scott Stiever, St. Paul Park, MN, and Jolene (Greg) Sheprow, St. Paul Park, MN; great-grandchildren, Michael-Damian Stiever, Justin Stiever, and Riley Stiever; sister, Laurine Roozen, Lake City, MN; as well as other relatives and friends.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard; son, Michael; parents; one brother and two sisters.
A funeral service will be held at 2 PM, on Friday, August 15, 2008, in the Tranquility Chapel of Lake Winona Manor. The Reverend Richard Colletti of the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery.
Friends may call from 1 PM until the time of the service, on Friday, August 15, 2008, in the Tranquility Chapel of Lake Winona Manor.
The family would like to extend a very heartfelt thank you to the loving staff of Lake Winona Manor for all of the care and concern which Mary received.
