John Paschall
John PASCHALL, 83, died at 11:15 a.m. today at his home 320 North Pontiac street. He had been critically ill since Sunday and in failing health for the past two years. Mr. Paschall was a retired carpenter. Funeral arrangements and a complete obituary will appear in Wednesday's edition of The News-Sentinel.

John W. PASCHALL, 83, died at 11:15 a.m. Tuesday at his home, 320 Pontiac street, this city. Death resulted from a cerebral hemorrhage which he suffered Sunday. He had been in failing health for over two years. His entire life had been spent in Rochester and vicinity.
A native of Fulton county, he was born Sept. 10, 1872, near Talma to Henry and Rachel (SIMCOKE) PASCHALL. On Aug. 6, 1897, he was married to Desse E. CRABBS in Rochester. The couple celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary in 1955. Mr. Paschall was a retired carpenter and building contractor. He was a member of the Rochester Methodist church.
Mr. Paschall was associated for years with the Baldwin and Myers contractng firm and helped construct many of the residences and buildings in this city, including the Methodist and Evangelical churches.
Survivors are his wife, at home; a daughter, Mrs. Richard (Maleta) McELHENY, Peru; a sister, Mrs. Gladys ALLEN, Culver; four grandchildren, Mrs. Eli (Barbara) WYNN, Mrs. Richard (Nancy) DUZENBERRY and Richard NEWELL, all of Rochester; Richard McELHENY, Peru, and eight great-grandchildren. A daughter, Mrs. Manford (Lucille) NEWELL, preceded him in death in 1945.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Zimmerman Brothers funeral home, with Dr. Claude YOUNG officiating. Burial will be in the Rochester I.O.O.F. cemetery.
