William Daniel Scott

Funeral services for William Daniel Scott, 59, of Dallas, formerly of Bronte, were held at

3 p.m. last Sunday in the Central Baptist Church in Bronte. The Rev. M. E. Patterson, pastor,

officiated. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Newby Funeral Home.

Mr. Scott died at 11:40 p.m., Thursday, February 24 in the Veterans Hospital in Dallas

following a long illness.

He was born February 22, 1913, in Bronte. The son of Joseph Lee and Margaret Ann

Rodgers Scott. He was a sheet metal worker. He married Catherine Jenakovich Nov. 16, 1945, in Dallas and had lived there the past 24 years. He was a World War II veteran.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Wilma Wisdom of Dallas; two brothers, Lee

Roy Scott of Ozona and Joe Edward Scott of Bronte; two sisters, Mrs. Mable Deppe and Mrs. Ray "Bernice" Coalson, both of Bronte; and one granddaughter, Danna Lynn Wisdom of Dallas.

Pallbearers and honorary pallbearers were nephews; Bobby Scott, Darwin Scott, Noel

Scott, Roy Doyle Scott, Troy Mack Scott, Cecil Coalson, Delbert Coalson, Merritt Joe Scott,DeWitt Scott, Ralph Scott Jr. and Danny Scott.
