Nellie A. Jessup, 76, of 618 W. 10th St., died at 6:10 a.m. Saturday, June 8, 1991, at her home.
Born in Indiana April 14, 1915, she was the daughter of Clyde and Lula (Stout) Hanklns. She married J. E. Jessup July 8, 1933. He preceded her In death March 20, 1982. She married Arthur Jessup April 4, 1985. He survives. She had worked as cook and food service person at the Durbin Hotel in Rush-vllle and the Arlington School for many years. She had lived in Rushvllle for many years.
Surviving besides her husband is one son: Dean, of Cumberland; two daughters: Mrs. Kelly (Lots) Bowling, Milroy, and Mrs. Michael (Norma) Joyce, Indianapolis; four stepsons: Milton, Rushvllle, Dennis, Mays, Joe, Arling-ton, and Steven, Rushville; two step-daughters: Mrs. Richard (Denise) Cathey, Westport, and Alice Jessup, Rushville: several grandchildren; and several great-grand-children. She was preceded in death by her first husband, three brothers, and one sister.
Services are 10 a.m. Tuesday at Moster and Cox Mortuary in Rushville with the Rev. Hank Anderson officiating. Burial is at Arlington East Hill Cemetery. Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Monday at the mortuary with O.E.S. services at 7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be sent to the American Cancer Society.
