BLEZARD, Barbara Jane, born October 6, 1943, in Detroit, Michigan, went to her eternal home on July 1, 2009. She was 65 years old at the time of her death. Barbara lived in the Antelope Valley since July 1967. She worked 31 plus years at Edwards Air Force Base before she retired on December 31, 1998. She was preceded in death by her father, George Mason Blezard in 1962, and her beloved mother, Mary Anna Blezard, in 2005. Her wit, intellect, compassion, and generosity will be sorely missed. She leaves behind her devoted cousin, Kathleen Booth and her family, cousins William and John Blezard, and their families in England, her cousins Lenny, Christine and Muriel and families from the USA and many friends she met along her path in life. Viewing will be from 6 to 7 p.m., Thursday, July 9, 2009, and Funeral Services at 10 a.m., Friday, July 10, 2009, both at Mumaw Funeral Home, 44663 North Date Avenue, Lancaster. Interment will follow at Lancaster Cemetery, 111 East Lancaster Blvd.
