Edenville Pioneer Dies
Adalaska Clarence Harris, 92, an Edenville resident for many years died at his home early Sunday afternoon following a six week illness.
Born Feb. 28, 1857, in Lapeer county, he is survived by his widow, Mrs. Sarah Harris of Edenville.
A pioneer lumberman in the Edenville area, Mr. Harris also owned and operated a gristmill in the community for a number of years.
Funeral services will be held from the Pilgrim Holiness Church, Hope, Wedn esday at 2 pm with Rev. Albert Lacey, pastor of the church, officiating. Burial will be made in Edenville Cemetery.
Friends may call at his home this evening until noon Wednesday and after that at the church until time of services.

Harris- Adalaska Clarence Harris, a brother to Elder J.C. Harris, passed a way Feb 20, 1949 at the age of 92 years lacking 8 days. Brother Harris spent most of his life in and around Edenville and Hope Mich, and is now resting in the Edenville Cemetery. He leaves a host of friends.
