PRICE- Donald Ray Anderson passed away Sept. 19, 2006 at his home in Tucson, Ariz. He was 83.


He was born Aug. 21, 1923 in Young Hickory Township, Ill., the son of Rhorderfer "Rhode" and Carrie Theresa Mosher Anderson. Married Martha Poulos July 3, 1950 in Salt Lake City, she died June 23, 2002.


He was a devout member of the Victory Assembly of God Church in Tucson, Ariz. He served in the military during World War II.


He lived for many years in Pleasanton, Calif., where he was a State Farm insurance agent. He retired to Tucson, Ariz., in 1987 where he and Martha enjoyed playing golf until her death in 2003.


Survived by sister, Syble Jennings, Ill; sisters-in-law, Virginia Poulos, Salt Lake; Sandra (Harold) Watson, Tucson, Ariz., Florence Vanzant, Dallas, Texas; brother-in-law, Bill Webb, Price; nephews, Lee (Teresa) Jones, Tucson, Ariz., Richard Vanzant, Baton Rouge, La., Greg (Vickie) Poulos, Price; Ron Webb, Salt Lake; nieces, Georgene (Bob) Porter, Las Vegas, Nev., Pamela (Ted) Makris, Salt Lake; Paula (Tom) Hardick, Dallas, Texas; Sandy Jennings, Hannibal, Mo.; and Alexis (Doug) Horsley, Price.


Graveside service Wednesday, Sept. 27, 9 a.m., Price City Cemetery, under the direction of Mitchell Funeral Home.
