Phebe Unknown and went to Elizabethtown, Canada; Dorothy, Elizabeth, Obadiah m. Pbebe Fargo; Mart Ann, Lydia, Marietta/Margaret m. David Curtis; David m. Jane and Thomas m Hannah Cheesebourgh . Henry Allen was son of Seth Allen and Ann Whitely of Dutchess Co., NY. Henry's sisters also removed to same area of Vermont. His half brother Seth Allen lived in Dorset. I have checked original land records of Dorset, Manchester, Danby , and other towns they lived in Vermont. The story told they were related to Ethan Allen is not correct, this Allen family are descendants of George Allen of Sandwich. Mass.
