CENTRAL ILLINOIS DEATHS, FUNERALS
- Taylorville-Clarence E. Connelly, 50, died Tuesday in St. Vincent Hospital where he was taken Monday. Death was caused from stomach trouble. He had been ill since Saturday.
- He was born in Marion county, Nov. 19, 1882, the son of Mr. and Mrs. John F. Connelly. About 11 months ago he moved to this city from Hearst. He had been employed in Peabody mine No. 8 in Tovey.
- Left are four children, Emmett and Reba of Zeigler; Wanda of Detroit, and Floyd, address unknown; two brothers, Charles of Dublin, Ky., and Grover of Iuca, Ky (IL), and one sister, Mrs. H. Zimmer of Hearst.
- Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p. m., Thursday in the chapel in Bell cemetery in Salem. Members of No. 8 mine local will be in charge of the services.
