On April 3, 2007 our beloved mother, Gladys Lucille Worthing peacefully passed away at home. She was born in Fayette, Ohio on July 11, 1908. Mrs. Worthing was married to the love of her life, Clarence L. Worthing for seventy-three years. Mr. Worthing preceded her in death in 1998 and her son William Worthing also preceded per in death.
Gladys was a resident of California City for 30 years. She loved the desert and her family.
She is survived by her daughter Nancy Alexander of California City, CA. Sons: James (Dorothy) Worthing of Houston, TX, Tom (Grace) Worthing of San Clemente, CA, Dick (Janie) Worthing of Silverton, OR, Jack (Sylvia) Worthing of Victorville, CA, Gerry (Vicky) Worthing of Emmet, ID and Michael (Theresa) Worthing of Randsburg, CA, 28 grandchildren, 43 great grandchildren and several great, great grandchildren.
She was the "heart and soul" of our family. We will all miss her deeply.
