Newspaper in Fairfield. A crowd of about 5,000 gathered in Fairfield and Suisun City yesterday to watch the colorful Western Jamboree Parade in the two cities, with more than 50 individual parade entries. That high-stepping pair of matched leopard Appalosas in the July 4 parade here in Fairfield were a father-daughter combination ridden by Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Casner, of Fairfield. Mrs. Casner was riding the handsome "Rimrock Red Quill", and Mr. Casner was riding one of his fine fillies. Mighty colorful way to celebrate such a colorful day! ( don't have the date of this article).
