Aurelia was also preceded in death by her son Frank; four brothers; and three sisters. She is survived by her sons and their wives, Sevy and Mamie, of Magdalena, Bert and Cecilia, of Truth or Consequences, Pat and Bonnie of Albuquerque; ten grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; three sisters-in-law, one brother-in-law; many special nieces, nephews, and friends.
Aurelia was a very vivacious woman and lived life to the fullest. She was the 1982 Old Timers Queen at age 70. She was a great seamstress and loved to crochet and do all sorts of arts and crafts. She will be missed by all.
Services were held at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church in Magdalena, NM. on December 27, 2006. The Rosary was recited at 10:00 a.m. with the Mass of Christian Burial being celebrated at 11:00 a.m., with burial following. Pallbearers were Larry Ortiz, Dion Ortiz, Jared Key, Ralph Perry, A.B. Tafoya, and Ben Tafoya.
