Alice Jeanette Clark Strain, 63, of Fairbanks did at 4:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 9, 1999, in her sister's residence. She was a housewife.

She was born Oct. 3, 1935, in Vigo County to Stanley Clark and Valoria Myers Clark. Her husband, Gerry Lee Strain, did earier.

Survivors include one son, Gregory Strain of Chicago; four sisters, Virginia Hayden of Farmersburg, Betty Johnson and Ann Myers and husband, Fred Myers, all of Prairie Creek, and Pat Case of Terre Haute; one brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Bob and Sue Adams; and several nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; and three sisters, Pauline Harmon, Irene Malone and Ruby Clak.

She was a member of Pleasant Valley Community Church.

Servces are 1 p.m. Saturday in DeBaun Springhill Chapel, with the Rev. Eddie Myers officiating. Bural is in Pogue Cemetery. Visitation is 4 - 8 p.m. today.
