Birth: 16 FEB 1774 in Martinsburg, Berkeley County VA (now WV 1 Death: 11 JAN 1860 in Putnam County, M0 1 Burial: oldest marked grave at Duree Cemetery, Mercer County, MO Her father, George Walls, served 1781-83 in the Revolutionary War as Major and Quartermaster General of Col. Crockett's Illinois Regiment, Virginia State troops. Anne lived with her son, Peter, in Missouri where she died in January 1860. She was buried in the Pickett-Duree Cemetery, Somerset township, Mercer County. Anne was left a share of land covered by treasury warrants totaling 4,445 acres of land in Kentucky, together with a share of the personal estate of her father. Records show that her father died in Berkeley County, Virginia.
