Riley Landers, 75, 911 W. Main St. Portland, died Sunday morning at the Jay County Hospital. He was a retired farmer.
Born March 3, 1911, in Portland, he was the so n of Isaac Frank and Carrie (Geesaman) Landers. He was married April 28, 1934, to Lena Harry who survives.
Along with his wife he is survived by four sons, Robert Landers, Portland, Gail and Lowell Landers, Winchester, Jack Landers, Middlebury; two daughters, Mrs. Steve (Cheryl) Chrisman, Bryant, and Mrs. Max (Barbara) McAbee, Berne; two brothers, James and Homer Landers, both of Portland; three sisters, Letha Gillum, Christina Guntle and Ethel Guntle all of Portland; 17 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services are set for 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home, Portland, with Rev. Lee Rose officiating. Burial will be in the Salamomia Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 2-9 p.m.today and prior to services Tuesday/
