MI. on Feb. 21, 1921 to David and Hannah Ropp he was one of 7 children born to the Mennonite couple. He served his country in WWII and upon returning from the Philippines, he married his sweetheart, Shirley Maddock. Their 59 year union produced 2 children; Kenneth James and Karen Sue.

1971. In 1972 he opened Ropp's Auto Electric in New Smyrna Beach, FL.
