Hazleton Standard-Sentinel, Friday, June 25, 1926:
"Mrs. Alex Semuta"
Mary, wife of Alex Semuta, of 943 East Diamond avenue, died suddenly early yesterday at her home from heart failure. She was 38 years old and was born at Greensburg, Pa., but had resided in Hazleton for the past twenty-one years. She was a member of St. John's Greek Catholic Church and St. Ann's Lodge No. 34 of that organization.

Besides her husband she is survived by the following children: Michael, of Camp Holabird, Md.; Anna, Mary, Julia, Andrew, Elizabeth, Helen, Margaret, George, Nicholas, Olga, Emily, and Pauline, all at home. The youngest is five weeks old. A brother, Andrew Racho died ten months ago. Mrs. Joseph Haky and Mrs. P. M. Marcinko, of Homestead, and a sister, Anna Racho, in Czecho-slovakia also survive.

The funeral will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock with services in St. John's Greek Catholic Church and interment in the parish cemetery.
