Private 267836 William John Bennetts, 1st 8th Territorial Battalion, Royal Warwickshire Regiment was the son of William Bennetts and Louise Jane Bennetts nee Lightfoot. He was a casualty of the Great War and was laid to rest at Maurois Communal Cemetery, France. William is commemorated on the headstone of his parents grave at St Ervan Cemetery, Cornwall. He was entitled to be awarded the British WW1 medals and his family would have been sent the Memorial Death Plaque of WW1 commemorating all war dead.
