Mrs. Ezekiel Allerton, fifty-six years of age died at 4:40 o'clock Monday afternoon at her home 1211 Gay Street. She had been ill for some time of heart disease and was in a serious condition since Christmas day.
Besides the husband she is survived by her mother Mrs. Amanda Groves and one sister, Mrs. Anna Achey. Mrs. Allerton was a member of the Evangelical church and of the Ben Hur lodge.
No funeral arrangements had been made last evening.

Funeral services for Mrs. Exekiel Allerton were held at 2 o'clock yesterday afternoon at the Bethel Evangeilcal church on Front Street. The Rev. Loose of Fort Wayne and the Rev. P. L. Browns of this city officiated. Burial was in Mt. Hope cemetery. Pallbearers were Frank Hier, Henry Pipenbrink, J.A. Burkett, John Sands, Nichols Ufheil, Henry Winkleman, Russell Correll and Mr. Garbardy. Those in charge of flowers were Mrs. William Denny, Mrs. F. Pressler, Mrs. Frank Goble, Mrs. C.O. Briant, Mrs. Henry Hiatt and Mrs. R. C. Thompson, who were members of the Ben Hur Lodge.
