George Everett Craig, 69, died at the Memorial Hospital Tuesday about 6 p.m. He had resided at the Rast Haven Nursing Home the past year.
The son of Harry and Mary Roseberry Craig was born February 29, 1894 at West Poiint. He lived in Mt. Pleasant most of his life.
Mr. Craig is survived by five sisters, Jessie Ellen Weiber of Everett Wash., Florence May Halliwill of Burlington, Mattie Willie of Great Falls, Mont., Lavue Quillen of Downers Grove, IL. and Bessie Church of Galesburg, IL.
One sister and two brothers peceased him.
Funeral services will be held at the R.K. Crane Funeral Home, Thursday, December 19, at 2 p.m. Rev. Lowell Simmons pastor of the Open Bible Church will officialte.
Interment will be in Forest Home Cemetery.
Friends may call at the R.K. Crane Funeral Home as they desire.
