DENVER CITY (Special) - Services for Wynelle Bishop, 64, of Denver City will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Trinity Baptist Church with the Rev. Jim Auld officiating.
Burial will be in Denver City Memorial Park under direction of Ratliff Funeral Home.
She died Sunday, Jan. 31, 1999, in Denver City.
She was born Sept. 3, 1934, in Meadow. She married Toby Bishop on Nov. 27, 1952, in Lovington, N.M. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday school. She was a former Ladies Hospital Auxiliary volunteer, and she was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Billy of Midland and Jesse James Jr. of Slidell, La.; a daughter, Freda Johnson of Denver City; her father, Harry B. Joplin of Denver City; three brothers, Delane Joplin of Scranton, Billy F. Joplin of Prescott Valley, Ariz., and Lavoyd Joplin of Bloomfield, N.M.; a sister, Vonda Day of Denver City; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to Trinity Baptist Church of Denver City.
